Blessed Gérard's Care Centre is looking for a

Social Worker

in a challenging new position in a relief organisation involved in a wide spectrum of social responsibility, especially for the children looked after by Blessed Gérard's Children's Home, the patients of Blessed Gérard's Hospice, the patients of Blessed Gérard's Hospice HAART Programme and the people asking help from Blessed Gérard's Relief Fund.

Blessed Gérard's Care Centre is situated in Mandeni on the North Coast of kwaZulu/Natal.

Your duties will be to assist management in all tasks which require the skills of a Social worker.

Requirements:

• A degree in Social Work
• A valid professional registration as a social worker with the South African Council for Social Service Profession
• 5 years experience - minimum (with traceable references)
• Driver's license
• Organisational ability
• Leadership skills
• Must be bilingual - English/Zulu
• Ability to work within a team
• Positive attitude towards the Roman Catholic Church
