Dear Father Gérard,
Your letter, with the cassette and album of photographs, posted on 17th December, arrived this morning, so unreliable is the post here at Christmas time!
The Grand Commander had given a very enthusiastic report on his visit to your Centre, and showed me some photographs he had taken. He also gave me the beautifully carved walking-stick, for which many thanks.
Your work is very impressive, and I pray that God will continue to bless you, your workers and all those that you help.
With my best wishes
Yours sincerely,
Frŕ Andrew Bertie
